eToro partners with International Capital Markets to provide ground breaking innovative trading platform to the region.

eToro, the fastest growing online financial trading platform, has joined forces with International Capital (IC) Markets to launch eToro in Australia and New Zealand. eToro’s new Sydney office and operations have been launched in response to significant growth in Australian trading volumes, and as part of its ongoing international development strategy, including opening local offices in Dubai, Singapore and the US.

The recently re-launched eToro platform caters for the growing retail sector in Foreign Exchange (Forex) and CFD commodities trading. The trading platform, available in a desktop version and a WebTrader version, provides tools for traders of all levels, from novice to expert. The wide array of features include a simplified visual user interface, instructional animations, analytical tools and an online community to cater for the diverse needs of its more than 1.3 million customers worldwide.

IC Markets, headquartered in Sydney, will now offer the innovative eToro trading platform as part of its suite of financial trading platforms. IC Markets is regulated by ASIC (AFSL 335692), the financial services regulator in Australia.

“We are delighted to launch the eToro platform in Australia and New Zealand and partner with IC Markets” said Jonathan Assia, CEO of eToro. “Forex trading is proving to be an increasingly popular investment option resulting in significant year on year increases in retail FX trading volumes in Australia and the region. We are confident that the eToro platform, which features six different trading arenas ranging from highly visual beginner to expert arenas, will appeal to both existing traders and novice ones.”
