Ric,

I don't understand why you choose to pick a fight and insult me instead of having a discussion but regardless.

IBFX was charged with C.R.2-36(b)(1) - CHEAT, DEFRAUD, DECEIVE FOREX CUSTOMERS and if you read the document you'd see that they have been charged for that section "for the use of deficient promotional material by non-Member solicitors" which is a pretty bad practice that I am sure they have corrected it.

Anyway, my point was not to say something bad about IBFX, they are are great broker and I have an account with them for more than 2 years now and am very happy. My point was that these kind of PR is not helping and has the potential to backfire - that's all.

Asaf. That is not what the ibfx complaint was about at all. It had nothing to do with, " CHEAT, DEFRAUD, DECEIVE FOREX CUSTOMERS."

This from the link YOU posted: COMPLAINT:

On July 27, 2009, NFA issued a Complaint charging Interbank with failure to develop and implement an adequate AML program; failure to adequately supervise the electronic trading system; use of deficient promotional material by non-Member solicitors; and failure to adequately supervise the solicitation of non-Member solicitors. The Complaint also charged Crosland and Albretsen with failure to supervise.

In short you are either troll liar, or someone with sour grapes.

In my opinion this PR can backfire big time for them and it doesn't do them a lot of good.

FXDD was just recently completed the NFA registration and I don't believe they have been audited yet so in case the NFA does find something when they are going to be audited such PR would probably resurface.

Just as a comparison - IBFX which were the first to issue these statements was also charged by the NFA for "CHEAT, DEFRAUD, DECEIVE FOREX CUSTOMERS" about a year ago - http://www.nfa.futures.org/basicnet/Case.aspx?entityid=0326091&case=09BCC00022&contrib=NFA

So my 2 cents is to spend less on PR and more on being a decent broker even if it means cutting back on revenue.
